This album features a wide-ranging selection of piano masterpieces, including Beethoven’s “Für Elise,” as well as works by Chopin, Debussy, Liszt, and Rachmaninoff. The fresh sensibility and solid technique of the young Yoshihiro Kondo lend elegance and rich expression to these familiar, beloved melodies, vividly bringing out the charm of each piece.
